There are many arguments about the mp3 downloading. About the 10 years ago, we were listened the music from the radio, and watched singers’ music videos on TV. Many people enjoyed to buy and collect the CDs and cassette tapes of their favorite musicians. I also enjoyed purchasing CDs of my favorite singers or bands when I was a high school girl, and remember that I was very happy to look at CD case, CD jacket and pictures. And put the posters on the wall in my room.
However, an increase use of computer, internet and its developments, people can easily get downloaded music, films and music videos through online. They also could see the album posters and pictures of singers from internet. I also stopped purchasing CDs, and start to download songs from internet or friends. Of course these songs and music videos are all free to listen and watch. People should not need to pay for music.
But these caused the big problem of song writer’s infringement of copyright. Therefore singers and the music companies are starting to advertise the album through online such as ‘Amazon.com’ to attract online users to buy it. Thus, internet caused some issues of downloading music but also it became another medium to advertise the music more convenience to netizen, and people could easily purchase the albums on line. Internet gives huge influences to people. As a place of advertisement and file sharing, it can help to people to buy the album, or it can make to stop buying the album.
