Our ever vigilant class-rep asked me to clarify a question people have had about the blog assignment.
The grading for the blog is not an all-or-nothing proposition.
The assignment is out of 20.
Everyone who makes five posts in five different weeks will be graded out of 20.
If you make fewer than five posts, or do so in fewer than five weeks, it will be treated in a similar fashion to late assignments and marks will come down.
It is still certainly better to make five posts in the last week than none at all, and doing five posts in four or three weeks is better again.
I'll mention this here again while we're on the subject:
To hand in the blog assignment, you print out the five posts you select from those you've made (meaning that those who have made more than five get to choose what to submit), each labelled with the date they were posted. You hand them in at FTVMS reception stapled to a cover sheet just like they were an essay, and you do not need to submit on Turnitin.
I've got some tips for how people can find their posts, but I'll leave that till closer to the time. For the record, responses are much harder to search than posts made to the central text of the blog.
