Here's some more example MP3s to chew on. For the record, the Mad Bastards songs I posted earlier are still available for download, but I'll take them down at the end of the week.
The sample songs this week are from Yokko Kanno, a multilingual Japanese artist. The songs themselves include lyrics in a number of different languages, including Russian, Japanese, English and the odd bit in Latin, and I was struck by how distinctive it makes the songs.
Any anime fans out there will have encountered these as the theme music to seasons one and two of the Ghost in the Shell television series.
